TROY LEE DUNCAN January 22, 1964 March 30, 2017 Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Troy Lee Duncan, 53, passed away during the early morning hours on March 30, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Troy was born in Baker City, Oregon to Lawrence and Mary (Payne) Duncan. In 1966, the family moved to Kenne-wick, Washington where Troy grew up and attended school. After graduating from high school, Troy immediately joined the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Southern California where he married, and a son Garrett was born to that union. Troy then spent the remainder of his tour in Yuma, Arizona and returned to the Tri-Cities. Troy was an electrician/ welder and skilled fabricator. He worked at several commercial/industrial facilities including The Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Richland, Washington and the Army Munitions Depot at Hermiston, Oregon. He remarried during this time and a daughter, Taylor, was born of that union. Growing up Troy enjoyed playing baseball and football from an early age. He also was an avid dirt-bike enthusiast and enjoyed tinkering with motorcycles and engaging in moto-cross. He tinkered with go-karts, sand rails, dragsters, and re-built engines for pickup trucks. Troy is survived by his brother, Patrick Duncan of Richland, Washington, his father Lawrence Duncan and step-mother Lucille Duncan of Bend, Oregon, his son Garrett of St. Louis, Missouri, his daughter Taylor of Carmel, Indiana, one grandchild, one niece, three nephews and several uncles and cousins.
