WILLIAM T. POLSTER III William T. Polster lll, born April 16, 1926, in Roslyn, New York, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016, at his home in Richland, Washington. Dad believed in God, family, and this country. His 21 year military service spanned three wars and countless days away from his family. Dad never questioned his sacrifice but always cherished his time at home with his wife and children. Even after retirement, Dad told stories of his time in the military with enthusiasm and pride. Dad once referred to us, his six children, as the little United Nations as we were each born at one of his assigned posts. The jangle of his keys was a hint it was time to leave and a whistle from his lips was the call it was time to get home. We will all miss him each and every day. His wife of 63 years Virginia would like to invite you to share in honoring Bill. There will be a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, and a Mass on Saturday, September 10, at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at Christ the King Church, Richland. We ask that in lieu of flowers you make a donation to the Catholic Children's Fund.
