Ralph J. Esposito Sr.TROY - Ralph J. Esposito Sr., 87, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Tuesday June 5, 2018. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Joseph and Nancy Esposito. He proudly served in the US Navy as a 1st Class Seaman on the USS Rich from 1947-1951. He was a former member and at one time, the Captain of the Navy Petty Officers Club. For many years he was the owner of Ralph's Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and was also the owner of the Exit-In Restaurant and Bar in downtown Troy. Ralph loved to travel and has been all around the world. He was an avid reader, enjoyed watching movies and was knowledgeable in history especially World Wars. Aside from his achievements and interests his greatest joy was spending time with his family.He is survived by his children, Nancy (James) Farley, Judith Esposito and Ralph Esposito Jr.; his grandchildren, Daniel Farley, Lisa Farley, Joyce Esposito; his great grandsons, Frankie Dyer and Dominic Dyer.He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Joyce (Mahaney) Esposito. He was also pre-deceased by his siblings, Anna Salerno, Philomena Donato, Madelyn White, Florence Mastan, Pauline Kapuscinski, Mary Colvin, Ann Kalein, Patrick, Michael, Dominick, Frank and Joseph Esposito.The funeral service for Ralph will be held on Tuesday morning at 8:45 AM from The Bocketti Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy and at 9:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Monday from 5- 7PM. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Watervliet. http://www.lastingmemories.com/ralph-j-esposito-sr
