To the Cottrell Family,

My son Charlie and daughter Katelyn had the pleasure of working with Jeff this summer at school. He was so kind to them and wonderful to work with. On the first day of work he asked how their grandmother was feeling, they were surprised that he knew her and it meant alot to them that he had asked. That just goes to show what a kind and wonderful person he was. Please know that you are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Mary - I cannot tell you how very, very sorry I am for your loss. Jeff was such a wonderful man in all the ways you would expect! His smile lit up the area wherever he was. Recently, he gave me a tour of the 7th grade hallways because I was lost - we had a few laughs over that! Please know that you have a huge support system ready and available to you and your family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!! Jeff will always be your special angel in Heaven!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Jeff other than to say hello at school on the days I picked up my daughters from the bus room, but he would always say a quiet "hello, how are you?' as I walked through the halls of HFCS. I never know what to say at the loss of someone so young. He seemed like the nicest of people and you could just tell he was the perfect family man. There is no understanding the reasons why. I just hope and pray that your memories sustain you and know his legacy of family will keep all that he stood for alive and well.. . Our condolences...Deb Mahar and family
