Patricia Anne Keough WEST SAND LAKE - Patricia Anne Keough, 63, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 after a long illness. Born and raised in Tarrytown, NY, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Lena C. Madden. She was a 1972 graduate of Russell Sage College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Immediately following her college graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, James F. Keough, before moving to West Sand Lake, where they resided together for 41 years. Caring and nurturing by nature, Pat was a pediatric nurse at Albany Pediatrics for the past 30 years. Selfless and generous, she put the needs of her family, friends, patients and pets before her own. Her horses were her passion, and she was committed and dedicated to them. Her determination, tenacity, honesty, loyalty, faithfulness and humor are traits that were cherished among the many lives she touched. Survivors in addition to her husband include her son, Brian S. Keough and his wife Nicole of Menands; her daughter, Leanne J. Keough of Troy; her sister, Kathleen D’Eufemia and her husband Joseph of Tarrytown, and her granddaughter, Morgan Patricia Keough, amongst numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Avenue in Troy on Sunday, from 4-7 PM. Funeral service will be held Monday at 9 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Cordes, officiating. Interment will be in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Patricia A.
