Dear Chris, Tom, Carol, and Matt, I just received notice of your mother's passing and I am so sad. As you know, Mary and I taught together from 1966 until we both retired in 1998. We became quick and good friends shortly after Mary joined our staff and we had so many fun times together. I watched as you all grew up, went off to college, got married, and started your own careers and families. I hadn't seen her in several years until I returned to Albany last summer. Mary hadn't changed much and, as always, we picked up right where we had left off. That is the mark of good friendship and I will miss the friendship we shared. May she rest in peace.

To The Kirwan family,
I send thoughts and prayers to you all for the loss of your Mom. I worked with Matt, a bunch of years ago and my mother would play cards with Mary from time to time as well and enjoyed her company. My deepest sympathy goes out to you all!
