Dear Arnold Family,
"The Judge" and your mother were great friends of my grandparents, (Huck and Eleanor Vosberg). Your dad was inspirational to my parents, (David and Patty Tramp). I loved the parties at my grandparents house when you guys were also there. I remember how proud your dad was of ALL of his children. One of my favorite memories of him was sitting with him and my grandpa at the Salpointe football games when I was little; along with the times in San Diego.
The last time I saw him was at jury duty. We joked on who would surely be dismissed and who would surely called...a retired judge or a teacher!
He was a great man and loved by my family.

My best memories of college were times spent with the Arnold family. Judge and Mrs. Arnold were always gracious, warm and inviting. I will always be grateful for the kindness shown to a little guy from Chandler. Judge Arnold's life, was a life well-lived. A loving wife, a phenomenal group of children, an incredible military record, and a distinguished legal career. Judge Arnold will certainly be missed. God rest his beautiful soul.

The courthouse flag should be flown at half mast. Even when we had conflicting views I found Judge Arnold to personify fairness and consideration. He was also a funnier guy off the bench than it might seem from his formal demeanor.
