Wendall C. Brown

Wendall C. Brown 96, of Tucson, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014. Wendall was born in Garden City, Kansas on July 7, 1917 to the late Marion and C.B. Brown (founder of Tucson Mountain Park). Moving to Arizona early in childhood, Wendall called Tucson home for more than 90 years. Wendall was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Lila Brown. Wendall made a career in the aerospace industry working for companies that included Lockheed Aircraft, Douglas Aircraft, and retiring from Hughes Aircraft in 1981. Wendall was an avid fisherman, amateur musician and accomplished recreational golfer – achieving a hole-in-one in 1996. Wendall will always be remembered by his nickname "Brownie" and for being a gentle soul. Wendall is survived by his daughter, Patricia A. Brown of Indio, CA. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Kristi J. Bolling of Yardley, PA and two great-granddaughters, Grace and Mackenzie Bolling.
