It was my great privilege to get to know Joe when my office was at Medical Square and he was the chief groundskeeper for the complex. He was a wonderful, wise and compassionate man who willingly shared his wisdom with anyone smart enough to listen. I was just starting in private practice and Joe was always encouraging and helpful. Over years I got to know more about his family and his pride in them. He taught many valuable life lessons, and will be deeply missed.
