Such a loss. Mr. Callison was my teacher in the late 1960's. He made an impact on my life. I miss him and I haven't seen him in over 40 years. Truly a great teacher and person.

I just found this, what a wonderful man who was my 5th grade teacher at Wrightstown elementary school in the early 70's. He was my favorite teacher and I never knew he was a Marine or a WWII veteran. I'm sure he touched many lives as he did mine.

I am so deeply saddened to hear this news. By far the most wonderful teacher I ever had, Mr. Callison truly left an impact on many of us. I remember he used to tell us that the only difference between himself and us was experience. He always treated us that way, and had a gift for perceiving and nurturing our individual gifts. He was modest, kind, funny and effective. He will be greatly missed - RIP Mr. C, and my deepest condolences to the family.

I am saddened by the passing of Mr. Callison. He was by far my favorite teacher. I have spoken fondly of him on so many different occassions. Thank you Mr. Callison for caring for and about all of your students. You made a difference in my life then and now. You were the first teacher that made me feel valued and gave me a true sense of belonging in the classroom. You were the first teacher that built a caring climate and a strong sense of community. For your family and friends, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. But please know that this very special person touched many lives, and will not be forgotten. With tremendous gratitute...Always, Debbie Towle - Current TUSD teacher and former Wrightstown student

Mr Callison was a great teacher and I am very glad that he taught all three of my children at
Wrightstown school.
He was a favorite teacher to all three, and was able to attend their bat and bar mitvahs. He managed to be there for them and me. He was always proud of his students.
He will be missed!

Alice and John and Mrs. Callison, I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed sitting with Mr. Callison at the EEF lunches when I attended with John McDonald and seeing him in the office when he and Mrs. Callison would come to visit Alice. He will forever remain in your hearts and memories.
