I was very sorry to read of Jim's death in the Sat. Daily Oklahoman. But, what a glorious weekend to go home!!! I'm sure he got to hear the Easter story first hand. Our prayers will be with you.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Jim Garner.
He was a great sports administrator and a charismatic special friend to all who knew him.

Genny & girls:
You may not remember me but my mother and Jim's mother Mary were very good friends. I sent her a Christmas card this year in
Austin and I got it back so I wondered if something had happened to her. My mother was Jonan Williams and I am Lynan. You brought Laura to our house in Winnsboro many years ago. I was so sorry and shocked to hear of Jim's death. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May you have the comfort of all those who love you and peace in the coming days.

Jim Garner touched the lives of countless many -especially ours. He introduced us to each other at TCU and was at our side when we married over 30 years ago. Even though we all moved away, Jim and Genny have never been -- and never will be -- removed from the center of our hearts.

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Jim's death. We have such wonderful memories of you in Boone and our fun times. Jim did so much to build ASU's Athletic Program and put us on the map with great coaches.
