TULLY, John 72, Resident of Tucson since 1976, died on December 4, 2017. Born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania to Patrick and Anne Tully on December 20, 1944. Raised in Havertown, Pennsylvania along with his two sisters and brother.  John joined the National Guard in 1965, and worked as an accountant for American Consumers Industry for seven years. In 1976, John and his family moved to Tucson. He along with his father-in-law, David Medoff, brother-in-law, Don Medoff, and sister-in-law, Dee Medoff, purchased Apache Industries including Geronimo and Glassmaster of Arizona. In the 80's, he established John Tully Distributing and remained involved in the construction business until his recent illness.  As a member of the Kiwanis De Amigos, John became close friends with Doug Meriwether, Dick and Genie Patterson, and Dave Betts. John loved to fish and hike with his friends throughout Southern Arizona and Mexico.  John is survived by his son, Kevin (Susan); grandson, Conor; sisters, Patsy Rhoads, and Peggy Stachowski; and brother, Patrick Tully. A service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church at 3201 E. Presidio Rd.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kiwanis De Amigos Community Foundation.  Arrangements by ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME.
