CASSIDY, Louise It is with great sadness that the family of Louise Cassidy announce her passing on December 23, 2017 at the age of 71. Louise was born in Joliet, IL to John and Louise Cassidy on April 12, 1946. She graduated from Saint Francis Academy High School and went on to complete degrees in respiratory therapy and in business administration (masters degree). Louise began her career working as a respiratory therapist and transitioned into hospital administration. Over the past twenty-five years she held the position of chief executive officer for long term acute care hospitals including Cornerstone Hospital in Tucson, AZ. Her warm nature and infectious laugh made her a friend to all including her many employees. Louise had a big heart and deep faith and she brought kindness, joy and compassion to her family and all she met. She loved spending time with friends, family and her cats. Louise will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Chuck (Katie) and sister, Carol (George) Legan along with her many nieces, nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jack and Bob Cassidy. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., Saint Frances De Sales, 1375 S. Camino Seco, Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to TMC Hospice. A special thank you to her friend James Long for his wonderful care at the end of her life.
