SACCO, Nicholas F. Nick joined our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ, November 2, 2017. At 90, he will be missed dearly by his loving and grateful family and friends. Nick was a devoted husband, wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, full of life. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Nick moved with his mother and twin sisters to Tempe, AZ in 1945. He was a railroad man all his life and worked for Southern Pacific railroad in Tempe and Tucson. In Tempe, Nick met and married Susanne. They moved to Tucson where they raised their five sons. Nick was a "die hard" Cubs and Bears fan and was ecstatic to finally see his Cubbies win the 2016 World Series. Nick was a proud member of the Order Sons of Italy in America and NARVRE and he enjoyed a wealth a friends at LA Fitness. Nick was predeceased by his sisters, Josephine (Matthew) Ottaviano and Rosa (John) Standish. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Susanne; sons, Paul (fiancée Shayna Landry), Mike (Lisa), Mark, Joseph (Susan) and David; grandchildren, Samantha (Jason) Porter, Kimberly and Katrina Sacco (Brian Mariner); Nicholas and Matthew Sacco; Kyleigh, Camille and Olivia Sacco; great-grandchildren, Elliott, Hayden and Kate Porter. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco, Thursday, November 16, 2017 10:00 a.m.
