Bette Belle Ingwer 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 9, 2013 in Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Carl whom she was married to for 60 years, and brother James Ashley Brewer. She was a graduate on Southern Methodist University and a life member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. A strong supporter of U of A athletics, she was also a member of the Presidents Club of the University of Arizona Foundation. Her other memberships included MO Club, Tucson Country Club, past president of Assistance League of Tucson, DAR, Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, and the Tucson Botanical Gardens. She also belonged to Friends of Western Art, Patio Garden Club, TMC Auxiliary, and was a past member of Desert Club. Her hobbies and passions included traveling the world with her family, golfing, playing bridge and Mah-Jong, reading, and entertaining. She especially enjoyed the Tucson Performing Arts. Bette Belle is survived by daughters, Carla Hamilton of Phoenix, Shirley Burns (Dan Lee) of Las Vegas, and brother Claude A. Brewer of Dallas. Her grandchildren include Dustin Hamilton (Paige) and Melissa Johnson, both of Phoenix, and David Hoff (Margaret) of Virginia. She leaves three great-granddaughters, Courtney and Allison Hamilton, Mary Hoff and great-grandson, John Hoff. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to .
