I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND LOVE YOU HAVE SHOWN MY FAMILY. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. HE TOUCHED SO MANY LIVES. I MISS HIM SO MUCH AND MY HEART IS BROKEN WHEN I THINK OF SPENDING THE REST OF MY LIFE WITHOUT HIM. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT HIS LIFE WAS A TRUE TESTIMONEY.HE WAS A POWERFUL WITNESS FOR THE LORD. HE USED HIS TIME, TALENTS, AND RESOURCES TO HONOR GOD. I AM SO PROUD OF MY DADDY. I CHALLENGE EACH PERSON PERSON THAT MY DAD TOUCHED THEIR LIVES TO CONTINUE TO CARRY ON HIS MINISTRY OF SPREADING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. MY DAD WOULD HAVE LOVED THAT. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.

A Message From Heaven

Perhaps you aren't ready yet
to have to say goodbye
Perhaps you've thought of things
you wished you'd said,well,so have I
For one thing I'd have told you
not to worry about me...
I'm with the Lord in Heaven now.
You knew that's where I'd be.
I'm sorry that you're feeling sad,
for I'm so happy now...
I've asked the Lord to ease your hurt
And comfort you somehow.
It's hard at the beginning,
but I know you'll make it through.
I hope it helps to know
that I'll be waiting here for you.

Ruby, I was so surprised when I heard the news of Charlie's accident. I am deeply saddened for you and your family. Even though this comes to all of us as a shock, I am so glad that Charlie served a GOD (as you and I do) that wasn't caught off guard by this and that same GOD is who will carry you as HE has for many years. Forever & a Day, Gary Spencer

Dearest Family,
We are so saddened by the death of Charlie. I can't help, but to remember the pride I had of my older cousin, when Mom and Aunt Louise took us kids to watch Charlie pitch in one of his games. He put in heart into everything he did. He was a wonderful cousin, with a very big heart. I'm sorry we can't be there with you all at this time, please know our hearts and prayers are with you all.

As Charlie's cousin, I have the fondest memories of our times hunting together over the holidays.
My solace is knowing that Charlie is with Jesus and there will be another smiling face there to greet me when that day comes.
Ruby, Aunt Louise and Sandra, I can't imagine the terrible sufferering you are enduring now. Please remember, you all are in our prayers.
Love always,
David

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Charlie was a next door neighbor and fellow soldier in God's Army, no finer man walked in shoe leather than Charlie Hobson. He always had a smile and a kind word, he never met a stranger, if he offended you he was not to proud to come back with a smile and say "I was wrong, I'm sorry." He was a Brother to us always there regardless of the need, always wanting to help. His only complaint to me was that the plates were not big enough when we had our fellowship "eat togethers". When you set down at the marriage supper of the lamb, your plate will be a platter Charlie and it will be plenty big enough. I know you are happy, sitting by the stream of life with a look of amazment on your face at all the fish you see swimming in there. I love you, we miss you, keep a look out for us, we'll be coming to see you, try to reserve the mansion next door to you.

Dear Ruby,
I was in college with Charlie and was a big baseball fan of his. I saw him at the recent reunion but did not get to talk to him. I'm glad they had that time together.

My heart breaks for you and the family, as he was a great guy. God bless you all.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord ,the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: And not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.---Praise God,---We will see him soon. because we are awaiting the coming of the Lord. God bless the family, We, and our church are praying for you.
God Bless,
