She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mae Wyatt; sisters, Dorothy Dockery Eddins, Inez Wyatt Johnson and Kathy Wyatt White, all of Tuscaloosa.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ronald G. Hinton of Tuscaloosa; daughter, Sabrina Hinton Sheffield (Dean) of Tuscaloosa; son, Ronald Jeffrey Hinton (Tracy) of Tuscaloosa; sisters, Martha Wyatt Ozier (Clarence) and Mary Wyatt Roycroft (Roy), all of Tuscaloosa; brothers, Willard Wyatt (Margaret) and William Wyatt (Karin) all of Tuscaloosa; and grandchildren, Hannah Sheffield Sanders (Cameron) of Gordo and Jacob Hinton, Luke Hinton, Sarah Hinton and Lily Hinton, all of Tuscaloosa.
Eloise grew up in Tuscaloosa and attended Tuscaloosa High School. After graduation, she married her high school sweetheart. Ronnie and Eloise were married for 55 years, and they enjoyed traveling to the mountains and taking many family vacations to the beach. She worked at Rental Uniform Supply for 30 years as the office manager.
Eloise was a faithful member of Duncanville Baptist Church where she taught the five-year old Sunday school class. She loved spending time with her family and especially her five grandchildren: Hannah, Jacob, Luke, Sarah, and Lily. Each grandchild was special, and Eloise could always be found at a dance recital, softball game, band performance, theatrical play, or choir concert. Eloise loved to cook, and everyone loved to eat her cooking. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, canning, and watching cooking shows on television. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh will always be remembered.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. John Warren, Dr. Frits van Rhee, Dr. David Hinton, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center, and Hospice of West Alabama for their tremendous care.
On Sunday, September 9, 2018, we celebrate the life of our precious Eloise, who was a wife, mama, meme, sister, and friend. We are so grateful for the outpouring of love.
