She was preceded in death by her father, John Wade.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Tuscaloosa First Church of the Nazarene with Reverend James Walker, Reverend Bernie Deffinger, and Reverend Wally Rezendes officiating. Visitation will be at Tuscaloosa First Church of the Nazarene Tuesday, September 24th from 6 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South is directing.

Sharon was one of my members when I worked at AL. One Credit Union on Skyland. She and I developed a sweet realtionship and I observed her gentle spirit through the years as she went through her battle*. My heart is sad for all who loved and knew her, and my prayers go out to all the family in the days ahead. *"Another Soldier's Goin Home!" Connie Bennett

Words escape me to express my sorrow. Sharon was a true witness of her faith and an inspiration to all who had the blessing of knowing her. A kinder and gentler person than she would be hard to find. I will treasure the memories of our visits together. Prayers and love for your family will continue.
