Uncle Hank was the "ULTIMATE" Godfather: easy to look up to, difficult to live up to. He quietly did a lot of good in this world, never looked for "credit" for the good he did; and showed you what "living the good life" REALLY meant. Our hearts go out to Auntie Dix and all of the cuzins...and of course: "Nitzy" and "Anna Banana;" the greater the man...the greater the loss.

Dear Preiner Family,
Please know that my thoughts are with you now. I fondly recall Mr. Preiner frequently going out of his way to include me in his “car pool” to and from various athletic events. His generosity and kindness meant a great deal to me. He certainly set a fine example of a father and one who gave much of himself to serve others.

I'm blessed I can say he was a part of my life and my very first basketball coach. A man who was a fantastic coach but also a great life coach! How do you not love a guy who would pick you up for practice, games, and most importantly encourge you to chase after your childhood dreams! To his grandsons I have had the privilege to coach Luke, Drew & Teddy and to the entire Preiner family my thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this difficult time. Rest in peace, Coach Preiner.

To the entire Preiner Family, words cannot explain the loss that you have all endured. He was one of the "best" men that I have ever met. A true companion, a wonderful husband, brother, father, and grandfather to all. We pray that the pain and emptiness in your hearts may subside some day.... Continue to keep the faith, as I am very proud to say that I met and knew one of the best!

Preiners--
It was an honor to have watched and played for Hank at Tranny. It was also a bit intimidating to coach against his grandsons while I was at Hill-Murray, with the legendary coach standing behind me in the crowd. He was an outstanding teacher, leader and role model for young men. Many people share in your great loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless you all, and rest in peace, Hank.

With each memory we meet again
With those we love…..
For the heart never forgets,
Someone so special ----

May you find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always,
And strength in the companionship of those who share your loss
You are held in gentle thought and prayer.
