Dorothy E. WADE

Loving Mother & Nanny Age 89 of St. Paul Was called home on December 4, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband Robert; sister Marian and sister-in-laws Veronica and Audrey. Survived by her children, Cynthia (Sam) Wolff, Tom (Susie) and Lori (Jim) Kelly; 9 beloved grandchildren, Jeff (Lindsay), Scott & Brooke Eilbert, Katie (Luke) Juhl, Lauren (Jared) Anderson & Sam Wade, Alex (Neal) Carlson, Jack & Maggie Kelly; 6 great grandchildren, Taylor, Max, Reagan, Rory, Henry & Chase and two, soon to be born great granddaughters. Dorothy is also survived by her sister Beverly (Vern) Pieper to whom she was a second mother; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Donald Strange, Carl & Marjorie Zenker, Jim Schoenberger and Dick & Harriet Wade and 15 special nieces & nephews. Dorothy was an alumni of Monroe H.S. and had been an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She was a proud stay at home mom and spent countless hours loving and being loved by her children & grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Andrew's Village for ten years of kind and compassionate care. Funeral Service Saturday 10 am at ST. PETER'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (Armstrong at Victoria). Visitation Friday 5-8 pm at KESSLER & MAGUIRE 640 W. 7th St. 651-224-2341. Visitation also 1 hr. prior to service. At Dorothy's request in lieu of flowers memorials preferred to her family to be distributed to her favorite charities.
