I am very grateful to Rose Phillips for her long-standing generosity toward children, especially very vulnerable children in our community. Her legacy will continue for many generations in many families.

Almost everyone wonders from time time "What have I done to make the world a better place?"
I didn't know Rose Phillips, but I have witnessed over and over again hundreds of ways in which she made the world a better place through the work of the Jay & Rose Phillips Family Foundation. The Foundation continues Rose Phillips's commitment to nuture and strengthen people working together to achieve social justice. By placing a stong emphasis on equality and opportunity and by having hope and faith in the human spririt, the Foundation continues to be enduring support for self-help, tolerance and activism in pursuit of social progress. Thank you Rose.

As Executive Director of the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus, we are truly grateful for the many gifts that the Rose and Jay Phillips Family Foundation has presented to the Chorus, particularly its sponsorship of "Oliver Button is a STAR!" and for the role that Rose played in the decisions to support many GLBT organizations and their work. Few foundations are willing to take such courageous steps to ensure the equal treatment of all members of our communities. Thank you to Rose and her family for their courage and support. Joann Usher, Executive Director, Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus
