I am so lucky to have known Mrs. Carlsted (hey, I am from the era that neighbors were known as Mr. or Mrs.) for many years. She was really like a second mom to me growing up on Western Avenue. Mrs. Carlsted and my mom became lifelong friends, as did Kim Carlsted and I. My mom had a lovely visit with Nat the day before she passed. They enjoyed sharing some fond memories. My sister said it was a really moving visit to observe. I wish all in your family strength and comfort as you grieve. You are all held in my thoughts and prayers.
