Andrew T. PICCIONE Obituary
Age 81 of Bonita Springs, FL, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 19, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late John Piccione and Margaret Jacovina Piccione. Andrew served in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class, Company D Specialist Training Regiment. He lived in New York until 1969, and then work took him to Minnesota. He worked at West Publishing Company for 42 years and retired as the Director of Accounting for the Westlaw Division. He retired to Florida in 1996. One of his greatest passions in life was golf. He was a member of Indian Hills Golf Course in Stillwater, MN from 1971-2013. Member of Bonita Bay Golf Club in Bonita Springs, FL from 1992-2006. Was a member of Olde Florida in Naples, FL from 2004-2017. He shot 4 hole in one's. Surviving is his loving wife of 24 years, Cindy Syrstad Piccione, son Tom(Jodi) Piccione, daughter Steph (Mike)Mistele , granddaughters Mia and Ella Piccione, sister Kathy (Frank) Casucci , niece Susan Lardaro, nephew Gary Van Cott and step-grandchildren Brandon, Benny and Brady Wegge. Besides his parents, Andrew is preceded in death by his nephew James Van Cott. Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Bonita Springs, FL.
