How sad it is that I have allowed the years to go by without contacting Sr. Ann Thomasine. She came to mind often and I told many of my students about this wonderful teacher I had at St. Margaret's Academy in the late 1960's who helped set my standards as a teacher. I'll always remember her for her openess and kindness.
Although the sentiment may be late in coming, "thank you for setting such a fine example for me to follow in the classroom. I was a better teacher because of you. Rest in peace, dear teacher".

I remember fondly Sister Ann Thomsine from my days in her religion class, at St. Margaret's Academy, back in 1968. She will be proud to know, now that she is in heaven, that I ended up, 40 years later, in Campus Ministry at Benilde-St. Margaret's, working with the students and the religion teachers.

May she rest in peace, and continue to pray for all of us in Catholic education.
