85, of Roseville, MN Passed away on Thursday, July 26th surrounded by his beloved family. Dale will be remembered and greatly missed by Sally, his loving wife of 62 years, their children Lynn (Gaylen) Poland, Scott (Karla) Roffers, and Rob (Maxine) Roffers; his grandchildren, Phil, April, Angel, Jonathan, Brittany, John, Nathan, Thomas, Michael; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by mother-in-law Alice Colombo, siblings Muriel (Jim) Erickson and Dave (Kay) Roffers, brother-in-law Mark Colombo and sisters-in-law Sarah Stevenson and Cindy Colombo. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Beatrice Roffers, his father-in-law Barrett Colombo, mother-in-law Norma Colombo, brother-in-law Barrett Colombo and sister-in-law Phyllis Colombo. Dale grew up in Ashland, Wisconsin. He attended St. Thomas University and graduated with honors in 1955. He served in the United States Air Force and worked at Paine Webber (UBS) for 45 years. In retirement, he and Sally spent the winters in Bonita Springs, FL. Dale was a man of great character and integrity. He had many friends in all walks of life and everyone loved listening to Dale's stories. He enjoyed golf, tennis, poker and a good cigar with his friends. Most of all he loved his wife, Sally and his family. Dale always said "I'm the luckiest man in the world". Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 18th at 11:00am. St. Michael's Catholic Church, 611 3rd St. S. Stillwater, MN. Visitation 10:00-11:00am. prior to the mass. Memorials to Northeast Residence in White Bear Lake, MN.
