Sending belated sympathies on the death of your father and grandfather. While my interactions with him were few, it was easy to see that he was the real deal. Irish eyes were a smiling. Thinking now of him and his dearest one, Jean, together again.

Thank you for your leadership and perseverance throughout many years.
I started at St. Paul and Suburban Bus Co. as an 18 year old Kid; the opportunities there built the foundation of a 41 year career in transportation, many memories, and friendships . Thank you for creating a great organization that is still strong today , God Bless

The world lost a great man when Don died! I went to St Peters grade school. When I was in eighth grade the coaches of the hockey team dropped out at the last minute. Don stepped up to coach the team at the last minute even though he had never coached hockey before. His sons Mike and Pat also played on the team. He was a busy man but always made time. That was in the 60's and he always had time for a conversation whenever I saw him since. Everyone knows about all the big things Don did and they are great, but I think what made Don a great man was how he dealt with people. Don will be missed.

What a great gentelman. My wife Kitty, and I have known Don and Jean for many years. We were at their wedding I purchased a 1946 Chev from Don in 1955 for $250.00 dollars/ I always thought the profit he made from the deal launched him on his great financial achievment. I will miss him. He was a true friend. Norm Sween

My mom Betty Riege went to work for Don at St. Paul & Suburban Bus Company in 1966. She worked for this amazing man for 34 plus years and retired at least two times because Don kept calling her back. They have been life long friends and cared deeply for each other. Don has been like an uncle to me. Mom and I will miss him immensely. Sending love and prayers to all of the Regan family.

I had the privilege of working with Don for many years. He was a visionary in business but a family man in practice and principal. I always had the deepest respect for his unwavering ethics and generosity. Don created a business empire that will endure for generations. That said, Don's loving family is his greatest legacy. Pam and I send our deepest condolences to the Regan family.

I knew Don Regan since I was a young kid. Lots of great memories come to mind. He was a good friend of my dad’s, and eventually the whole family. There is not one Mentzer who didn’t come to love this man. Don’s name came up a lot usually in association with family/church/community investment and growth. To me, his buses kept us warm on those cold winter school days. Always, his smile and low tone voice brought a sense of security and love. His family was happy and super-friendly with everyone. I will miss Don and all the great things He took part in that impacted so many lives. The gratitude for Don’s life will be never-ending. For some reason now, I picture a young Don up in the choir Loft with Jean looking down on us.

My condolences to all of the Regan family. As a child, Don and the Regan family were always in my life as we only lived 2 doors down from each other. Don was the father of my good friend Katie. I spent many days at the Regan house playing in the yard or in the basement shooting hockey pucks. My mom drove bus for his bus company for many years and he once hired a few of the neighborhood kids to help stuff some marketing envelopes for the bank. Don seemed to be in everything in the community and always tried to keep the local economy strong by hiring those within it. I feel fortunate to have run into Don again while my daughter and Katie’s daughter played volleyball together at Hill recently. It was nice to see him through my adult eyes and to be reminded what a caring, compassionate and loving family man he was to all. He will be missed.

Don Regan was a visionary, and a man of faith. He also cherished his community, and raised his family to pursue success as he had always done. I have known Don for over 50 years, and spent some time with him last year. He was an inspiration to the many of us that knew him. I worked with him on the project of POLAR ARENA many, many years ago. And yes he loved to watch hockey. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Thanks Don, and GOD Speed.

Don was a loving and gentle man who had a faith that could move mountains. He has a love for the Catholic Church, and his family would reflect those values by their support and compassion to the unfortunate. I am going to miss Don, and I will never forget how he attended my father's funeral. My sympathy and empathy to the Regan family. His spirit will remain with us forever.
