Well another year has passed, and how you miss them, and wish you could just hug them again. We look back on life and remember special moments. Jeff always had a smile, even when he wasn´t up to par. Always thinking of others. It reminds me of Jesus Christ on the cross, always thinking of others. Corinthians 3:18 says we become like Him. Jeff truly did shine .

Another year in passing, we are getting closer to the Lord coming and taking us home, and will be seeing each other again. Thanking the Lord we meet here on earth, and we were both able to be a blessing. What a day that will be!

Sadly missed, as parents you never expect to have your children go before you. As you will always have tears , but only the joy of it is knowing he is with the Lord. We our only here for a short while, and we need to be a blessing to others, truly Jeff was that.

My prayers go out to all the family members. After loosing a son, brother , husband , and a father, you become lifeless. We met Jeff when he was drafted by Buffalo Sabres. We were like foster parents. Had him for dinner, made him bake goods. He always had a smile and kindness. The picture of the lamp , I made . He said he needed a lamp, so I said I will get one for you. When giving him the lamp, I think he thought I buy one, but he came back with a thank you and a hug.
He would always say hi sis to our daughter . We had front row seats, and on one game he came up to the glass , hit it with his stick, and said hi sis, their were some girls behind us, then saying we're sitting next to Jeff Parker family's. So funny . The girls were crazy about him. But he always took time out for the little kids.
The thing I will remember about him
is his Smile and giving heart.
We were so bless to have met.
He will be sadly missed.
One of my favorite Bible verses is Ps. 116:15
Jeff needed a lamp, so I made this for him. He was a special guy. I have some more pictures of him from R. A. Will add later.

I will cherish all the memories that I have with Parker. He truly was an amazing person that I will never forget. He was an amazing father and I thank you for allowing me to see Josie when you'd bring her in to visit when I was working. She is a beautiful little girl that will shine from everything you have taught her. I will be throwing your rock into my lake so whenever I look off my deck I can think of you. May you Rest In Peace Parker

Jeff and I graduated together from WB Mariner in 1983 and have remained friends since. Jeff was so nice, patience, kind, friendly guy. I remember when I saw him at our 10 year class reunion, by himself. So, I walked up to him and started talking to him like old times. I suppose this was right after he got hurt in the NHL was done with hockey, even though he could not remember my name at first, we still laughed at our memories from school. As we got older, I would run into him around town. Always gave me a hig hug and said Hi Honey, how's it going. I'm goig to miss those hugs and small talk. I know he's in a better place with no pain and watching down on all of us who loved and cared for him. RIP Jeff!!

My deepest condolences to Linda and the Parker family. Jeffrey was kind, generous, quick with a smile and I much enjoyed the opportunities I had to spend time with him. He was an extraordinary person whose memory will not be extinguished.

The Parksie I came to know was one of the most loyal, good hearted friends ever. He was an amazing person who was good to everyone. Never once did he complain about his health and always found time to make others feel good even when he himself was suffering. He will be missed dearly by everyone who was lucky enugh to know him. Rest my dear friend, hope to see you again in the place where there is no pain or sickness.

MY Sincere sympathy to you Charlie, Scott, and John:
I didn't know Jeff nearly as well as Scott and John, but followed his career starting in WBL. All the boys were class acts and I had the good fortune of coaching two of them. Good times.
My sympathy also goes to all of his family members for this tragic loss.
Sincerely---Al BLUMER

Although I have not seen Jeff or the Parker boys in years I have countless great memories of Jeff - the kid down the street that made it to the big show! I will always remember the countless hours spent at the Parkers playing tennis ball hockey - the big brothers would put me in goal - and all I remember is hoping to not get injured when Jeff would let a slap shot go! My brother Dan and I did get to see a game at the old Met when Jeff was with the Sabres, and we yelled for Jeff the entire game, that was great....(although a few North Star Fans did get irritated)! My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and may Jeff rest in peace! Dave Wohlberg (aka "Little Wally" to Jeff)

We met Jeff his freshman year at MSU. My mom and brother met him at Skate with the Spartans and my mom made him a knitted sweater jacket with a MSU hockey player on the back with his number. He became a wonderful friend of the family and was at our house for dinner at least once a month. He was a wonderful person and a great hockey player. Although is passing is very sad, he is no longer suffering from all that he was dealing with on a daily basis. Prayers and love to his family and friends.
