Kayleen "Kaye" (Rikess) FELDMAN Obituary
Age 90, of Saint Paul, passed away July 11, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was an amazing wife, mom, nanah, daughter and sister. Kaye was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Ben, in 2011; her parents, Belle (Beck) and Maurice Rikess; loving son, Larry; and two wonderful brothers, Stanley and Edward. Kaye is survived by her children, Linda, Laurie (Jim), Jeffery and daughter-in-law, Lisa; grand-children, Melissa (Jeremy), Rebecca, Natalie and Kaylah; Dan, Kurt, Rachel (Rick) Sorensen; Taylor, Nick and Griffin Pocock; great-grandchildren, Olaf and AJ Sorensen, Lydia Bishop, and Ava Scharff; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kaye was a woman ahead of her time that displayed class and kindness. As the daughter of a tailor she loved clothes. In 1976 she opened a consignment clothing store in Highland Park called the Elite Repeat which is still a thriving business to this day. She always stayed busy and was an advocate for her family over the years, and loved to laugh and make others do so. Kaye took pride in being a friend and had many lifelong friends. She will be missed by her family, friends and members of the community. She loved being with Ben, her kids and grandkids. Kaye and Ben had the love of a lifetime. After losing Ben, she stayed at home and eventually moved in to the Sholom Community and later the Alton in St. Paul, where she continued to live with great style and beauty. Kaye's family would like to thank the staff at Sholom and The Alton for all of the kind and wonderful people that took care of her and thanks to OLP hospice. Funeral Service 11 a.m., SUNDAY, July 15th at TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 S. Mississippi Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55116. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's favorite charity.
