Who is Uncle Dick? He was a happy, jolly, cheerful man who always had a kind word & a pocket full of compliments. His kind words will never be forgotten. How lucky we all are to have had him in our lives. He was always such a "proud" husband, father & Papa! We all need to remember, "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure". He is a treasure to all who knew him. I will deeply miss my amazing "Uncle Dick".

To the Ruedy Family,
As a young officer back in the early 70's I remember Dick as a friendly helpful mentor. Willing to help us young officers become part of the police family.
My sympathy to all,

Our favorite memory of Dick is the Christmas dinners. Between Roger being the best Ruedy potato masher and Dick making the world's best chestnut dressing, it was always a great time.

"Uncle Dick", I'm not sure if there are to many words to describe how you could brighten room, but the first that comes to mind is the glow of happiness that was always "shown" about you. The wonderful gift of Grace. I have, these constance words going through my head; "Sandy's a Dandy & Nancy's so Fancy". Those words have, & always will be very special to us both. What a Glorious Day you must have had spending your 82nd Birthday with the Lord! There are many Friend's from all over that have been praying for the Lord to comfort all of the family & friends who morn the loss of your presence here on earth. I know Auntie Lorraine, how great the loss is for you & the kid;s & grandkid;s etc. my prayers for all of you are sent many times a days, I hope you are feeling the comfort of the Lord's arms wrapped around you, & his shield of strength protecting everyone of you.

God's many Blessings, & All my Love
