Roy GOSSELIN Obituary

Age 96 of Lincoln, NE Died Saturday, September 14 in Lincoln. He was born in St. Paul, MN on July 10, 1917. A 1934 Cretin High School (St. Paul, MN) graduate, 1939 graduate of St. Mary's University (Winona, MN) and an MBA from DePaul University (Chicago, IL) in 1946. Roy was a Christian Brother for 17 years and taught in Duluth, MN, Chicago, IL, Amarillo, TX, Winona, MN, and Memphis, TN. The last 26 years of his teaching career were at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN where he taught business administration. He and wife Ellen retired to Bella Vista, AR in 1982 where he was very active in St. Bernard Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling. Roy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David & Beth Gosselin of Lincoln; daughter, Alena St. James of Los Angeles, CA; and grandchildren, Amy Gosselin, Alhambra, CA & Megan Gosselin, Omaha, NE. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen of 55 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be 3:15 pm Wednesday (9/25/13) at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ, 3500 Sheridan Boulevard, Lincoln with Monsignor Robert Tucker officiating. No viewing/visitation. A private family burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Lincoln. www.bmlfh.com
