Oh Dear God, I just saw this . I didn't know . I am so very sad to find this news today . I just loved Mary so much . I never met her but we became friends through her late son's site...and then on facebook. We wrote so many times together and we talked about eveything . I hadn't heard from her in a while so I should have known something was wrong . She was the first to write any comment of support anytime I posted anything . She always read everything I wrote and responded with such care ....she was a good friend !!!!!. I know how much she missed Mitch so I only hope that her family can take some sort of comfort knowing she is with him again . But we will miss her down here . She was so involved in so may causes and made sure Mitch was never forgotten....let's all do the same for her. Such a beautiful lady in everyway . Love you Mary and I am so sorry I didn't know sooner . How very very sad this world is without her and Mitch . All our love and support to all of the family and friends. God Bless you Mary .

Arnie, Wendy and Angie and family
A loved one is a treasure of the heart and to lose a loved one is like losing a piece of yourself. Cling to the loving memories and let them find their way to heal you. The love and laughter, the joy in the togetherness you shared...will make you strong. Keep your hearts beating with loving memories and trust in your faith to guide you through.
The beauty of love stays behind to surround and embrace each of you. Mary has left her love to hold in your hearts forever and the essense of her soul lingers.
Mary has touched so many, my heart goes out to you Arne and Wendy and Angie and all the grandkids, and the rest of the family.....She will be truely missed by all.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I interviewed Mary a couple of times on Channel 16 in White Bear Lake about the golf tournaments she ran to raise money for MN Teen Challenge. I immediately could see what a warm & caring person she was. Even after our interviews she kept in touch with me on Facebook and would often leave positive comments for me & my family. I feel blessed to have known her. I will keep your family in my thoughts & prayers.

Uncle Arne, Angie and Wendy,

My childhood memories are colored so richly by the loving embrace that your family bestowed upon me. Auntie Mary's unconditional love, dedication and infectious laughter I hold dear to my heart. I am forever changed by the love your Mother shared and the space that she created for me in your family. I am a better mother having known your "Mother". May you find peace in each other as you grieve her loss. May her memory live on in all those you touch. Prayers, love, hope and peace.

Arne, Wendy, Angie and family,

I graduated high school with Mitch and although it has been many years, I know the love that Mary had for her family. Mary was a facebook friend of mine and only a few weeks ago, I had a status on facebook that was one of Mitchs many quotes. Mary took the time to thank ME for remembering Mitch. Thats just the kind of person she was. She clearly touched everyone she came in contact with. The one consolation is that she is now reunited with Mitch, who no doubt, greeted her at Heavens gates.

Take comfort in the memories you have of her and the stories you will tell of her for years to come.

I have no doubt that today, even heaven is improved by Mary.

God bless your family,

Hedberg Family, Mary was such an inspiration to me! She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother, a devoted grandmother. She worked tirelessly on the Mitch Hedberg Golf Tournament every year to make it a success so the money that was raised went to help those suffering from addiction. She didn't just live her life, she made a difference in other people's lives. My heart breaks right along with yours, but you need to be very proud of the life she lived here on earth. Even though we would rather have kept her here with us she is now reunited with Mitch and she is free of all pain and sorrow. I am grieving with you but my heart is filled with love for this wonderful woman. I am praying that your whole family will find peace and comfort in this sad time knowing how much she was loved. Wendy, Angie and Arnie, thank you for sharing Mary with me all these years.
