Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister February 11, 1929 - November 9, 2016 A life devoted to God and family ended suddenly and peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Colleen was preceded in death by her husband John Joseph McDonald and son John Joseph Jr.; parents Irene and Leo Dolan, brothers Rev. Leo and Patrick Dolan, and sister Rose Doane. Colleen is survived by her loving daughters Christine Peters-Vick (Paul), Molly McDonald and daughter-in-law Ann McDonald; sisters Irene Molitor (Ted), Mary Ann Wier (Tom); brother Dennis Dolan (Shirley) and brother-in-law Bob Doane; Grandchildren Shannon Rasmussen (Mark), Brian Peters (Cheryl), Laura Peters (Gayle), Danny Peters (Lindsay), Will and Ellie McDonald; and 9 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She recently celebrated 51 years of devotion to her Franciscan Third Order and was a dedicated servant of the Lord to Little Sisters of the Poor. Colleen lived her entire life devoted to sharing the love of God and lit up any room with her smile and grace. Please join us in celebrating her life. Visitation TODAY Sunday, Nov. 13, 3-6 pm at O'Halloran & Murphy 575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul, 651-698-0796. Mass of Christian burial TOMORROW Monday, Nov. 14th at 10:30 a.m. at NATIVITY OF OUR LORD CATHOLIC CHURCH (324 S. Prior at Stanford Ave, St. Paul). Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Little Sisters of the Poor.
