Michael Jerome McCORMICK

1927 - 2015

Age 87. Passed away peacefully on August 10th 2015 at the Cerenity Residence of St. Paul. He was born to Michael and Margaret McCormick on Sept. 5th 1927 in Faxon Township MN. He is preceded in death by siblings: Margie, Rozella, James, Maybelle, Cyril, Dick, Raymond, Norbert, Edward; his wife of 60 years Marcia, infant son and daughter. He is survived by children: Judy, Jeannie (Bob) Margaret, Michael (Colleen), Patrick, Kathy, Dan (Linda), Brian (Peg). Grandchildren; Jim, Joe, Marcie, Heather, Rob, John, Paul, Kristen, Sean, Kyle, Siv, Tim, Sierra (Matthew), Gil Jr., Sam, David, and Grace (Gaitan). Great grandchildren: Kelsey, Jesse, Garrett, Emmett, Haley, Michael, Catherine, Ashley, Patrick, Landon and Emma. Great-Great Grandchildren: Jayden, Carter, Paul, Kylee, Max, Gabriel, and Eli Hegstrom. Mike was a cement finisher for 40 years. He worked 20 years for 3M and 20 years for MA Mortenson Co. He passed his strong work ethic on to his family. He was an avid vegetable gardener, hunter and fisherman. Family gatherings at the cabin always made his Irish eyes smile. Visitation one hour prior to funeral Mass at 11:00 at Cerenity-Marian of St. Paul, 200 Earl Street, St. Paul, MN on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Memorials preferred to Union Gospel Mission and Cerenity Marian Center.
