1939 - 2017 Obituary Condolences Gallery
Age 77 Of St. Paul MN Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 2, 2017. Barb is preceded in death by her parents, Leo & Virginia (O'Connell) Webb of St. Paul MN, her sister and brother-in-law Gayle and Tom Summers. She is survived by her 7 loving children, Mark, Virginia Roberts (Daniel), Matt (Amy), Gretchen, Cathi Mich (Joel), Chris, Michael (Jessica); 11 cherished grandchildren, Brett, Eric & Luke Miller, Joe & Brian Roberts, Will, Virginia & Eddie Mich, Leo, Jackie & Gus Miller. Her devoted sister, Sr. Virginia M. Webb CSJ, dear nieces and nephews, and many loving relatives and friends, including Karen Streiff who saw Barb, as many did, as a mentor and friend. Barb attended Nativity of Our Lord, St. Joseph's Academy and College of St. Theresa. She was a devoted mother that put her family first. She was committed to making sure that her children were taken care of and felt loved. She used to say, "I always wanted a houseful of kids and that's what I got!" Mrs. Miller left a lasting impression on friends, family, coworkers at The Birthplace, and anyone she ran into that gave her a smile. If interested, memorials may be made in Barb's memory to Our Lady of Peace Hospice Center, St. Paul MN. Their kindness and devotion overwhelmed us with peace and comfort during our mom's final days. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 PM, at O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home (575 S. Snelling Ave, St. Paul 651/698-0796) and for one hour prior to Mass on Friday. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM, Friday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (324 S. Prior Ave, St. Paul). Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
