Carolyn Wiley Obituary
Burial will follow at Frankston City Cemetery.
Mrs. Wiley passed away Friday, July 24, 2009, in Tyler.
She was born Feb. 13, 1935, in Limestone County to Aubrey Briggs and Ira Mae Daugherty Briggs.
Mrs. Wiley was a member of University Baptist Church, Tyler, and was former owner of a fabric store.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Morris Slaughter; her parents, brother Aubrey Briggs Jr. and sister Eunice Mae Stone.
Survivors include husband John Wiley of Frankston; sons, Jimmy Slaughter and wife Debbie of Brownsboro and Joe Slaughter and wife Ann of Flint; daughter Dana Bratcher and husband Tim of Lott; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, John Slaughter, Joe Slaughter Jr., Steve Slaughter, Zach Bratcher, Seth Bratcher, Brad Schmidt and Chris Chambless.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2009, at Autry Funeral Home, Frankston.
