Robert N. Bouchard

HOOKSETT - Robert N. Bouchard, 80, of Hooksett passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2014, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.Robert was born in Nashua on Aug. 9, 1933, a son of the late Albert and Florianne (Levesque) Bouchard. He was the beloved husband of Gloria (Pinette) Bouchard of Nashua.Robert served our country in the U.S. Navy. Before meeting his wife, Robert was a Trappist monk in Spencer, Mass., for six years. He had been employed as a contract administrator with Sanders/BAE before retiring. He enjoyed bridge and other card-playing games, puzzles and all Boston sports. He also belonged to the Hooksett-ites. Robert had a strong Christian faith and belief in Jesus. In line with his strong Christian faith, he believed his true treasures were waiting for him in Heaven not of this Earth.Besides his wife, Robert is survived by three sons, Joseph Bouchard and his wife, Carol-Ann, of Concord, Paul Bouchard of Manchester, John Bouchard and his wife, Jennifer, of Springhill Tenn.; one daughter; Mary Bouchard of Simi Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Nash, Nina and Walker; one sister, Constance Erickson of Nashua; also many nieces, nephews and cousins..

SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26, in the Hunt Room of the Crown Plaza Hotel, 2 Somerset Parkway, Nashua, from 11:30 a.m to 2 p.m. All are welcome to come and enjoy themselves.Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.Throughout his entire life, Robert gave unselfishly to many charities and organizations, so in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Home Health and Hospice, c/o Development, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack NH 03054.To view an online memorial, send a condolence or for more information, go to and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home.
