MEMERE is a great woman. She took care of the family and loved and cared for many more. She made all feel welcomed and made part of our family. There was no strangers to be known. It didn't exist in her vocabulary. She followed my father's wishes to the tee. I know because she watched me and my two other brothers. She made us understand what value meant and it did not have dollar signs. She was a surviver of the great depression and all who have ties in the family like we do know that there is no dollar signs like that. She was one who believed that the value was in each other and who we could make a difference with. My father Donald Poulin was a single father who raised his boys with full time job and schooling on the side. She tried her hardest to help him further his education and wasn't ever going to quit. My father has and knows when she was overloaded and so he decided to not continue. She always said that she was going to be around until all of her grandchildren had been married to the ones that they loved blessing each one. There was another thing that she contributed which was the Chicken Dance that would make all family members contribute either in laughing and or dancing and she was always the first to get up to dance and the last to leave the dance floor. She showed nothing but devotion to her husband George Poulin. She loved and waited 28 years to be held by him again. God bless memere. You are now in his arms with life lessons that you taught all of us. We all love you and now I know you will always be remembered with the thousands of great memories that you shared with us.

To the Poulin family, I am so sorry to read about the passing of your Mom. She was such a wonderful person. I have many fond memories of her as I was growing up and we hung out at your house on Wilson St.
My deepest sympathies.
