Doris Lucie Bergeron-Pelky 87, died peacefully at home in Henderson with her daughter by her side from COPD on February 15th, 2021. She was born April 17, 1933 in Manchester, NH.

Survived by daughter Donna Lockrow, husband Jim of Franklin NH, Daughter Brenda Grasso, husband Andy of Henderson NV, Sons Mike Pelky of Tilton NH and Mark Pelky of Franklin NH., God child Jean Ducharme of New Ipswich NH and nephew Leo Ducharme of Manchester NH who was more like a brother, 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great grandchildren and hundreds of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband of 43 years Francis Pelky (Pelletier), Mother Angeline Roux-Bergeron, Father Jean Baptiste Bergeron, Grandson Gary Lockrow, step grandson Timothy LaMontagne, and 17 siblings. She was "the baby."

Her parents being immigrants from Quebec, Canada, she was excited after 8th grade to start her first full time job in a shoe factory and was at same job for 15 years. She then went into manufacturing as a CNC machinist that she loved and continued until retirement. After retirement she spent much time with her husband in their motorhome at Salisbury Beach.

In her early years she competed in roller skating, loved tennis and could never get enough dancing in. Only her brother in law Jodi could keep up with her jitterbug. She cherished her memories of moving furniture to make room for a dance floor to dance with nieces and nephews.

She loved all her cats throughout the years, enjoyed scratch tickets, crocheting, coloring, Bingo, playing cards and picked up reading romance novels when she was 86 years old! She loved playing poker machines in Las Vegas where she later moved to live her last 19 months with her daughter Brenda and husband Andy. All should be comforted knowing during that time she lived in a loving, caring, safe, comfortable home that she so deserved and was content. She will be missed by many.

SERVICES: Celebration of Life in NH and Las Vegas will be announced at a later date. Burial will be private.

First, I offer my sincerest condolences to Doris's entire family -- may she rest in eternal heavenly peace -- and secondly --, may I ask, was Doris a Manchester High School Central class of 1951 student? -

Doris and my mom weren’t very close growing up except the last ten years , they drew closer . Mom was so proud that she finally got Aunt Doris to say she loved her. They didn’t see much of each other throughout the years but stayed in touch by phone. Thankfully , they were able to finally meet in person before she left to go stay with her daughter Brenda. She will be missed. There must be a big family reunion up in heaven!
