After leaving Straw School I would not see the three Croteau brothers again, but life would create one opportunity for me to cross paths with Edward when he approached me at the post office on Goffs Falls Rd. We talked for awhile and he told me of the passing of his siblings Roland and William, who died much too young. I remember being in his home and meeting his parents during our Straw School years.

He seemed satisfied with what he accomplished in life, and though I do not know his current family I wish you all comfort as you remember his life and your time together.

My condolences to Gloria and family. I played basketball with "Jr" at the old Straw School court. He was the best foul line shooter out of all of us. RIP "jr". Russ Cardin
