MERRIMACK - Josephine Edith Kelly, 81, of Merrimack passed away on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a sudden illness.

She was born on Oct. 26, 1931, in the Bronx, N.Y., daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina (Fusco) Marricco.

She worked in the cafeteria for Reeds Ferry School for over 25 years. She loved her family, the lake house, and her dogs, Buffy, Spook and Cassie. Family was most important to her and made friends with everyone she met. She was proud of her Italian heritage and growing up in the Bronx, N.Y.

Edith was predeceased by her husband, Richard Kelly in 2008; a brother, Armand Marricco; and a sister, Marie Duggan.

She is survived by two sons, Steve Kelly and his wife Lou Ann, of Hooksett, and Gary Kelly of Nashua; a granddaughter, Heather Kelly; and several nieces and nephews.


services: Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Thursday, Jan. 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the N.H. Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen at noon.
