HOOKSETT - Lieselotte Hartofelis, 83, of Hooksett, died Jan. 28, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Hartofelis, was born in Creidlitz/Coburg, Germany, on July 25, 1929 and was the daughter of Emil and Gertrude (Pitrek) Matthes. She was the widow of Epokratis (Cuddy) Hartofelis who died March 24, 2012. She was a member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church and held memberships in the Philoptochos Society and the DAV Auxiliary. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Manchester West High School in the cafeteria.

Members of the family include three sons, Nicholas Hartofelis and his wife Se Sun, of Manchester, Christopher Hartofelis and his wife Elizabeth, of Westford, Mass., and Michael Hartofelis and his wife Alisa, of Martinsburg,W.Va.; four daughters, Mrs. Christine-Hartofelis Paull and her husband Larry, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Stephanie Papajohn and her husband Bill, of Manchester, Cynthia Hartofelis of Gardiner, Maine, and Mrs. Gloria Dutton and her husband Scott, of Pembroke; also 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and several nephews, nieces and cousins.


services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Cain & Janosz Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 74 Brook St., corner of Pine Street, with the Trisagion service held at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 111 Island Pond Road, Manchester, the Rev. Athanasios Nenes, officiating. The burial will be held at 1 p.m. in the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Assumption Church 111 Island Pond Rd. Manchester, 03109.
