CANDIA - Mark A. Carbonneau, 56, of Candia, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Mark was born in Fitchburg, Mass., on Aug. 9, 1956, to the late Arthur and Dorothy Carbonneau. He grew up in Townsend, Mass., eventually graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1978 with a degree in veterinarian science. He married Adrienne Hale in 1982. They lived together in Candia, and had three children, Sean, Amber, and Michelle.

Mark was a proud and accomplished salesman and manager; working for various office equipment distributors in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. From a young age, Mark was also a passionate member of the German Shepherd Dog community, serving as president of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Southern N.H. He enjoyed raising, showing, and breeding German shepherds, several of his own becoming champions. He was also a dog-handling instructor, spending much of his time teaching others about his passion. His hobbies included snowmobiling, golfing, and coin collecting.

Mark was a kind and loving father, husband, and friend, and will be missed greatly. He is survived by his wife, Adrienne Carbonneau; his children, Sean, Amber, and Michelle Carbonneau; his two sisters, Donna Lorden and Jane Powers; and his brother, Alan Carbonneau. He is also survived by many extended family members.
