RAYMOND - Peter P. Eaton, 78, died at his home on June 11, 2013. He was born on Sept. 5, 1934, in North Conway, the son of the late William and Doris (Robinson) Eaton.

He was formerly employed as a lineman for Local 104 IBEW for many years. Peter was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 51 in Raymond, and the American Legion Color Guard in Epping. He was predeceased by his wife Helen (Hodgdon) Eaton, who died July 24, 2002; a grandson, Kevin Hafford who died Nov. 5, 2011; three brothers, George, William and Jimmy, and four sisters, Doris, Sue, Alice and Linda.

Pete spent many hours tending to his garden and was known for generously giving away most of his vegetables.

He is survived by his children Helen, David, Monalisa, Brenda, Jackie, Andy, and Holly; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Morris, Zeek, Larry, Franky, Rodney, Charlie, and Malcolm; his sisters, Millie, Ramona, Rebecca, Abby, and Bea; many nieces and nephews.


SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 15, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire, Inc. 1070 Holt Ave., Suite 1400, Manchester, 03109.
