CONCORD - Priscilla A. (Connors) Brochu passed away peacefully on June 8, 2012, after a very brief illness, surrounded by her children. She was 77.
Priscilla was born in Manchester on June 18, 1934. She was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Pike) Connors. She graduated from West High School in 1952 and was captain of the cheerleading squad. She worked for many years at the family business, L. A. Brochu Nursery and Landscaping, before her retirement. She will be remembered most for her devotion to her children and grandchildren.
Priscilla is lovingly remembered by her children, Susan G. Proulx, Mary E. Proulx, and Leonard A. Brochu II and his wife Leah C. Brochu, all of Concord. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren, D.J. Proulx II of Portsmouth, Catheryne Proulx Maskell and her husband Scott of Baltimore, Gregory D. Proulx of Concord, Hilary E. Proulx and her fiancé James Niesuchouski of Portsmouth, Jaclyn E. Proulx of Portsmouth, Hannah M. Brochu, of Concord, Leonard A. Brochu III of Concord, William N. Brochu of Concord and Henry D. Brochu of Concord; as well as her two great grandchildren, Annabel Proulx of Concord and Benny Maskell of Baltimore. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy LeBoeuf and her husband Edmund of Manchester, Janice Buxton of Nashua and Barbara Shea of Manchester and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 42 years, Leonard "Red" Brochu, and their daughter, Marie A. Brochu.
Priscilla enjoyed quilting, reading, and mostly spending time with her family. She vacationed in Aruba with her husband for over 20 years.

services:Calling hours will be held at Waters Funeral Home at 50 South Main St., Concord on Wednesday, June 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 72 South Main St., Concord, on Thursday, June 13, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery, 207 North State St., Concord, immediately following the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brochu Family Scholarship at Bishop Brady High School, 25 Columbus Ave., Concord, 03301.
