AUBURN - Raymond T. Brissette, most recently of Auburn, NH, who lived a long life of 95 years, passed away on September 6, 2018. Born December 28, 1922 to Annie and Willie Brissette in Manchester, NH, he was raised in Norton, Vermont. Raymond served his country valiantly during World War II, with five European campaigns. For Raymond's outstanding services he received the Good Conduct Medal with honor and valor.

Raymond married the love of his life Mary Groeppner; together the two of them raised four amazing children. The couple raised Denis, Michael, Louise and Paul (deceased) in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Raymond worked for the Seal Tanning Company as a Controller for well over 25 years prior to starting his own home construction company. Raymond's passion of carpentry and building led his company to be extremely successful and well respected in his community. He was an active member of the Massabesic Seniors' Club.

Raymond was predeceased by his soulmate and wife Mary. He's survived by his three children, sons Denis Brissette and his wife Jeanne of Penacook, NH; Michael Brissette of Manchester, NH; and daughter Louise Brissette-Chasin and her husband Steven of Rockville, MD. Raymond leaves behind a legacy of four grandchildren: Nathan Brissette and his wife Katherine of Concord, NH; Brian Brissette and his wife Kelli of Gansevoort, NY; Elizabeth Shingler and her husband Sean of Philadelphia, PA; and Jonathan Chasin and his wife Jennifer of Tampa, FL. Raymond's memory will be carried on by his eight great grandchildren: Ella, Adalyn, Finlee, Kinsley, Reagan, Josephine, Henry, and Maxwell.

SERVICES: Raymond's life will be honored with a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, 567 Manchester Road, Auburn, New Hampshire, at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018. Following shortly after Mass, Raymond will be interred at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, New Hampshire at 11 a.m. The public is cordially invited by the family to attend Raymond's Mass and Burial to honor his legacy.
