I have VERY fond memories of Clyde and was best friends with Bob and Bill growing up. Oh, how the years have flown by. My dad, Dusty Cal, and Clyde Joy gave me my great love for country music and introduced my to the "joy" of entertaining.

Rest In Peace, after a long, hard-working life, Mr. Joy.
I loved watching Clyde Joy on Channel 9 as a kid in the early 1960's.
I presumed that he was so named because of his ever-cheerful face!
Thank you for all the music.

Clyde was truly one of a kind and had a great sense of humor. He was more than an entertainer. He was a showman.
As founder of a non-profit I had the pleasure of having him perform on a number of benefits for the NE Country Music Historical Soc. in the 90s and count him as a true friend.
Thanks for keeping it country, Clyde all those years.
