CLARKSVILLE - Edna Marie (Kolodziej) Schroeder, 89, of Clarksville, passed on July 25, 2012, at Villa Crest Health Care Center in Manchester.

Mrs. Schroeder was born May 17, 1923, in Manchester, a daughter of the late Walter Charles and Victoria Sophie (Scibor) Kolodziej.

She graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1941.

Mrs. Schroeder was employed with the Manchester City Library and St. Anselm-Geisel Library in Goffstown.

She also was the leasing deputy for the Manchester Housing Authority. She worked with her husband, Edwin R. Schroeder, as the office manager and vice president of the family construction business for 16 years.

Mrs. Schroeder was a charter member of the Mount Washington Observatory, and an attendant at Grace United Methodist Church in Canaan, Vt., and the Farnham Memorial United Methodist Church in Pittsburg.

She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn L. Schroeder, two sons, Lt. Col. Richard E. Schroeder (Ret.) and David P. Schroeder; a brother, Ted H. Kolodziej, as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Schroeder was predeceased by her husband, Edwin, in May 2011, and a sister, Stella N. Krolikowski, in 1996.


SERVICES: Funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of family.
