Hi Molly and Monica, Even from way out here I feel the void. He was truly an exceptional man and a friend of real significance.

Dick was the ultimate "Jack of all trades". His knowledge and curiosity were unbounded. He was a tremendous help to me as a teacher at Science School providing solutions to any problem as well as a defense for shared ideas. Certainly one of Dick and Molly's greatest gifts to me was the friendship of the daughter they adored,Monika...my student and Science School assistant. I'll always be grateful to you, Dick! I just heard about Dick's passing a couple of days ago but was not surprised. And even though I shall really miss him as a great friend and wonderful employer, I am relieved that he is now in a better place and his spirit liberated from his crippled body.

As I wrote to you Molly, Dick is one of the few men whom I have always liked and respected. I admired his brilliant yet well rounded, cultured nature! He was a good friend to me and always treated me well in every way!
