Kurt Musser Obituary
URBANA - Kurt Duncan Musser, age 58, of Urbana, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Mercy McAuley Center. Kurt was born on September 14, 1958 to the late Philip D. and Jeanne I. (Anderson) Musser in Urbana, Ohio. He was a 1976 graduate of Urbana High School, and later went on to work a variety of jobs around town. Most notably, he was a paper carrier for many years for the Urbana Daily Citizen. Kurt loved bicycling and riding go-carts in the summer. He also enjoyed searching for treasures, using his metal detector often!
Kurt leaves behind his long-time companion, Connie McCain and son, Joseph Musser; sister, Kim Pence; brother, Rex (Rosemary) Musser; two nieces, Brook and Megan Pence; two nephews, Chad (Bethany) Musser and Eric (Hollie) Musser, as well as great-nieces and great nephews, Aiden Witt, Jalynn and Micah Musser, and Emily and Colton Musser.
Along with his parents, Kurt was preceded in death by two brothers, Flint and Scott Musser.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the stage area of Melvin Miller Park in Urbana.
Contributions may be made in Kurt's honor to Community Mercy Hospice (100 West McCreight Ave., Suite 400, Springfield, OH 45504).
