Heather Ann (Narbone) Mishlanie 1976 - 2018
YORKVILLE - Heather A. Mishlanie, 41, was called home by the Lord Almighty on Friday, January 19, 2018.
Heather was born on February 29, 1976, in New Hartford, to parents Paul and Judy (Lindsey) Narbone. Heather was a leap-year baby and truly a miracle from God. She was a graduate of Thomas R. Proctor High School and went on to earn an Associate Degree in nursing, which culminated in her obtaining her license as a Registered Nurse. Heather was currently employed with Central New York Psychiatric Center in Marcy, where she fulfilled her duties with compassion.
Heather was always full of zest. She was never satisfied with the status quo, always going above and beyond in her professional and personal life. Heathers first Love was being a mother. She put her children's needs at the forefront of her thoughts and actions. Heather loved running social events and her family. She was an avid runner and participated in several Boilermaker road races. Heather was a compassionate soul who looked to help anyone and everyone in need. She was adored by her friends and family and always knew exactly what to say to bring a smile or laugh in their time of need. She has accepted her new position as guardian angel for her friends and family and will continue to do the same.
She is survived by her sons, Luis and Alexander Gonzalez, Yorkville and Matthew Mishlanie, Marcy; parents, Judy (Tom Kopec) Narbone, Holland Patent and Paul (Donna) Narbone, Remsen; brothers, Paul and Timothy Narbone and Joseph Bocchino (Kayla Countryman); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Taylor Mishlanie; and grandparents, Lonore and Earl Lindsey and Marjorie and Mathias (Buster) Narbone.
Heather's family would like to thank and extend their gratitude to all the friends and family who showed an outpouring of emotional support during this difficult time. They would also like to thank all the first responders and the hospital staff of Faxton-St. Luke's healthcare in New Hartford and the staff at SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, January 25, 2018, from 4-7 p.m., at Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., 40 Main St., Whitesboro.
